I created this image for an exam in my Graphic Design course. I used two images of the New York City skyline, one with the twin towers, and one without the towers. I wanted the twin towers to appear as a misty vague memory represented as a reflection in the water. The two photos were blended by painting the waterfall onto a black background using the program Corel Painter tools, the tiny palette knife and stump blender brush.
Creativity seems to have always been a part of me. The desire to create images or make things with my own hands is important to me. Although I love creating with my hands, my creative side urged me to try out the new digital format of art on computers. I was soon painting images with a computer program. I love creating digital artwork with computers, but it is not where I first tried out digital artwork. It was on a WebTv unit using the online imaging tool called Image Magick Studios. This is a free site where people edit, create art, or composite existing photos. I call this type of art Imaging. I also love writing fiction. This comes from me making up stories in my mind to entertain myself. We didn't have video games to play.
